Doctor Strange Theatrical Poster by Mesmeretics Doctor Strange Theatrical Poster by Mesmeretics
This is the first theatrical poster from a series of poster I shall be creating over the summer, focusing on the less well-known Marvel heroes that should be included in future 'Avenger' films, starting with 'Doctor Strange.'

As a side note, I did initially want to make the posters look as official as possible with the inclusion of credits, but as there are so few people currently involved in this particular project, I decided against it.

For those who are not familiar with Doctor Strange, the giant demonic face in the sky is that of Dormammu, Doctor Strange's archnemesis.

There's also a little easter egg in the poster for those that look hard enough, granted it is rather obvious.

I think Dormammu will be saved for a sequel. I did have an idea I think would work, involving HYDRA's mystic division.

Is that the Baxtar Building in the right corner?

I read somewhere that they're already working on this movie. Neil Gaiman is writing the script and Guillermo Del Toro is directing!

This would be a sweet idea for a movie! I wonder who would play Doctor Strange?

I'd suggest Liam Neeson or Patrick Dempsey.

Hmmm...They seem pretty decent, maybe Liam Neeson more so cuz I always pictured Dr. Strange having a noble Shakespearean speaking voice.

Well, Neeson was already Ra's Al Ghul, but since it was a small part in TDKR, I guess he could do. Another choice I forgot to mention is Adrien Brody.

Perhaps and Gary Oldman is not a bad choice either...

I think Brody would be a good Dr. Strange, but I'd rather have him for Ant Man(Scott Lang). Gary Oldman is a good choice, but he'd make a better Ulysses Klaw.

Maybe but at the end of the day I think it all depends on who dose a better job playing the part.

Mabye Marvel could hold auditions for the role. Assuming the actors are up for it.

Awesome poster :D

Is the little easter egg Tony Stark's tower on the right of the poster?

This is legit.

Would the Easter egg be the Stark Tower?

Yes, it would be!
I thought it would help contextualise the timing of the movie and such.

Nice. Continuity is my only concern with the newer Marvel studio movies now. If they can get that right, then the Avengers sequel will be all kinds of awesome!

I thought that too, until I realised I had been completely missing the key continuity content.

For example, in Odin's War Room during Thor, you can see several important artifacts such as the Orb of Agomotto, The Infinity Gauntlet, etc. (and what with Thanos at the end of The Avengers, I think they've certainly opened up a ton of doors for themselves).

Yeah, I'm really excited to see what happens next. I just hope "Thor's villains" aren't the only ones used in the Avengers movies.

I'm the same, they really can open as many doors as there are comic books. Lots of potential!
